Trauma focused behavioral health therapy where it’s easiest– in home or telehealth, on the streets or in the safe sanctuary of a therapeutic office in Durango, CO.
In Spanish and English, we also offer community-based outreach services, language interpretation, and collaborative action with community partners to create harm reduction services and inclusive systems for the People of La Plata County, especially the housing insecure and immigrant communities.

Assertive street-based case management, counseling, accompaniment, crisis intervention and harm reduction strategies to unhoused and housing insecure neighbors.

Post Traumatic Growth Somatic Therapy for Adults. A nervous system approach to resilience and a return to essence. Calming and exploratory mindfulness practices to gain a self awareness and identify root stressors in a compassionate way.

So, what’s in the name, SOL Salud?
Salud means “health” in Spanish and we want to normalize that our Spanish-speaking community is not just an afterthought. And we all can raise our glass to ¡Salud!
SOL is a word understood in both English and Spanish and embodies the soulful nature in how we serve our community and clients.
SOL means “sun” in Spanish, the light that provides life to our world. Our work and therapy is guided to do the same: provide light and restore brilliance to those who have been harmed by oppressive systems and traumatic experiences.
Also, it’s an acronym in both languages and is our mission: S.O.L. stands for:
Services, Opportunity, and Leadership. We provide community-based bilingual behavioral health Services & Opportunities for healing, grounded in peer Leadership
¿Qué es el nombre, SOL Salud?
Salud significa “health” en Inglés y queremos normalizar que nuestra comunidad hispanohablante es un parte céntrico a nuestro trabajo. ¡Y a todo el mundo le encanta brindar con “Salud!”
SOL se pronuncia en la misma manera que la palabra “soul,” lo cual significa “alma.” Es una palabra que se entiende tanto en Inglés como en Español y con mucha alma servimos a nuestra comunidad y a nuestros clientes.
SOL significa “el sol” en Español, la luz que da vida a nuestro mundo. Nuestro trabajo y terapia están guiados para hacer lo mismo: proporcionar luz y restaurar el brillo a aquellos que han sido dañados por sistemas opresivos y experiencias traumáticas.
Además, es un acrónimo en ambos idiomas y es nuestra misión: S.O.L. significa
Servicios, Oportunidad y Liderazgo. Brindamos Servicios de salud comunitaria bilingües basados en la comunidad y Oportunidades para sanación, informado por el Liderazgo del Pueblo.
